My mad Fat Diary has got to be the most beautiful-lest show I have ever watched! To me these 3 seasons have meant so
much more watching this show than anything. I don’t know about anyone else but
we get to see how an individual copes with situations and an illness they face.
Although things could be debated with all this as it’s a very taboo topic
amongst peers, but I’m not going into that I am just going to express my views
on this show.

Where do I start, Rae Earl (Sharon Rooney)
played by probably the most influential and dramatic actress ever. I cannot
express what it means to me to see a person who can act so well that made it so
believable. Rae Earl is the most typical girl anyone could imagine, expect she
has an illness of course as the show goes on it progresses to the point of
finding herself and going out the big bad world. For three seasons I have stuck
by Rae Earl cheering her on, feeling her pain because let’s be honest we all
felt like her really to that point. It’s a maddening experience for some but I
was super happy to see Rae Earl moves away from all that she becomes someone
who grew up and I feel like I did so with her!
The characters in the show, all individuals
with the same problem and had a more different approach to how Rae did it, we
all know that the connection between Rae and Chloe was the highlight of the
show. For me it was the icing on the cake how desperate one can get to confide.
Although her connection with her other friends deliver in a nice was as well,
Rae didn’t realize it but she was of course the glue that stuck them together
honestly. I feel like the music was also the other highlight too, it had hands
down one of the best music too! And the artistic delivery with the shots with
all scenes the dramatic approach to situations and the animation filled in from
Rae’s diary it all fit in and is so memorable.

Debatable about the show but I don’t want
to say anything that can get me hate!
However I will add that I didn't like the short episodes! But it worked in their favour!

Dopes conclusion –
Overall one of the best shows ever to give
on E4 with a few flaws, I don’t think I have ever been so happy about seeing
thing. I remember waiting every night to give it and I was so happy for Monday
to arrive. I am a huge fan of this show and the actors that play them too, for
me it was like a revelation to something new. I faced a similar situation to
Rae but of course I have gotten out of it and I know some people can’t but I
feel like this is a good show stating that and it delivered and I couldn’t be
happier. Every emotion was like a roller-coaster in the show because we realise
that not everyone is perfect so hands down MY MAD FAT DIARY should so be
awarded! So give it a watch people you will not be disappointed!
Well it’s sad to say goodbye to a great
show but we must move on I hope something else comes out what will my Monday be
like now! (T__T) ~

Dopes Says –
This Manga is probably the
most heartbreaking story you will read with a twist of futuristic qualities,
although things like this have been used over and over this story however
delivers! The story takes place with Naho who reads a letter and finds herself
questioning where it comes from when events start to happen around her does
she relaise that the letters are all real. It has a spooky effect hearing one
self from the future repeating the past to save someone. Its probably going to
be a quality live action as well when they decide to make it hopefully the
characters deliver.

The story takes place with
six friends who have an amicable personality for every single one of them which
brings them a lot closer. What you have to do is read closer to get their
distinct personalities from each. Whats beautiful is that they do seem
stereotypical, but they have a great understanding as sub characters in the
story. Yet they are drawn together because of the one letter they all received
which helps them deliver the purpose of the Manga itself.
The relationship between
the trio main characters are great, they execute the triangle to a point of
budding friendship that doesn’t get spoiled. Kakeru however, as a main
protagonist is a shade of mystery what Takano does is make him so mysterious
you never know if he knew about the letters if he got on himself, if he realise
that others are helping him survive without revealing it. Its a enigmatic
storyline with a need of answers. What
we do get is sections of the timeline switches and POV, which helps us
understand his mindset a bit more and the other characters.
Dopes dislikes –
I found that Kakeru is
quite selfish, but then again this topic is a sudden taboo for a lot of people
for me. His need of reasoning was bitter. However, despite all that his
relationship towards Suwa and Naho is quite oblivious at times, its like
forcing someone to eat. But nevertheless that was the only problem I had.
Dopes conclusion ~
This Artwork for this
Manga is so good that its a great fit for the Manga. I love the style to the
point of the details they all point in each character. Even to the point of
their future selves that they have a look of maturity as well which I found
endearing. So far only 19 chapters have been released so I wont say too much
but from what I gathered it is a wonderful Manga with a list of drama, romance
a sense of sci-fi and a little bit of mystery as well. Altogether im quite
proud of Takano she made a Manga which will be always remembered in my eyes. I
hope you enjoy it as much as I do and when the live action comes out I hope it
also portrays the characters in a similar light as the Manga for me nothing beats
that! So check it out when you can.
UPDATE!!!
I have finally read the final chapter!! Honestly I cannot express how happy and sad I am it is over this manga had so many feels that I couldn't express. All day I couldn't get over how great the ending was, so open and so amazing. I hope there will be extra chapters or so but if not I believe it has ended with a bittersweet feeling of hope!
Honestly if no one has read it you must, its so different with so many emotional moments. I feel happy for the outcome of it all! Now I will go and wallow in my pettiness of finding another great manga like this.

Chihaya Ayase is a frank and ebullient girl who becomes fascinated by the obscure world of competitive karuta, a card game based on Japanese poetry. Introduced to the aggressive style of the game by a quiet and thoughtful elementary school classmate named Arata Wataya, the two quickly become close friends. They start playing as a group with Taichi Mashima, Chihaya's smart and athletic childhood friend, until they have to part ways during their middle school years due to several circumstances. As their high school life begins, they meet once again.Where do I start, Its probably a favourite show and manga of mine. I think its deciphers so well how the main protagonist is trying to get into Karuta. For me Karuta is so unique even I want to play but memorizing 100 poems like that, by gosh you must have really good memories and to play at a speed like that woah.
So the story follows Chihaya and her classmates especially a close one called Arata into playing Karuta and winning of course. Each players get a chance of recognition in the show and whats best is that they also introduce another male friend of Chihaya and Arata called Taichi who is like king of Karuta of course quite amazing. I am impressed by the storyline and character development along with the animation.
Its bright and colourful, the music is settled so well with the characters and show. I love the whole slow process of allowing the characters to delve into the world of cards and gain the speed. The central line is finding ones passion into playing this game and that is what the show produced. The music and animation are on point too its amazing how it all fits!
After an exciting year for the Mizusawa High School karuta club, a new semester begins as two new members join the group. More passionate than ever for the old card game, Chihaya sets ambitious goals for herself and for her friends. They compete in two extremely arduous high school championships.
Here we go again with season 2! Of course this season was a bit more slow and more charming than the first season. This season it followed them entering and gaining new members who of course didn't want to play properly until the game started of course for all the wrong reasons.

Until they all prove through obstacles that they can play Karuta and enjoy it until their hearts content. For me the shows showing the competitiveness and complicated game of Karuta. How overwhelming it is and how they are passing it with a lot of dedication. Its lovely that its following the manga to, although there is a lot more to the manga than where the anime stopped off of course.
If you must know the complicated relationship to Arata and Chihaya along with Tachi is a main topic throughout the games. Its a complicated and complex love and hate triangle with a lot of ignored feelings. When I read the latest chapter it was sad to see what was going on, of course no spoilers but its still on going hopefully there is a 3rd season of this show, its such a great one and so thrilling to watch something so different! If you haven't watched it give it a go you might want to also play it! There's a lot more in the show than meets the eyes!

When boys suddenly get into places where they've never been allowed before, some girls tend to get upset. So when the decision is made to merge the elite Yuihime Girls' Private Academy and the coeducational Kagamidai Private Academy, everyone wants to take extra care in avoiding trouble while bringing the two Privates together. Therefore, rather than just bringing the Kagamidai boys into the Yuihime girls' school all at once, a plan is concocted in which a group of test males will be inserted into the Girls' Private Academy first.
Ok well this anime took me a while to get into, it wasn't my top favorite close to other similar ones though but it was worth a watch. Why, because the main character wasn't a perv for once and his best friend wasn't either. The girl reminded me of Nagisa from Clannad a weakling but it was so cute so I endured it. For me it was a normal plotlined story and all, the only twist was the ending people would be shipping characters and for me I was correct when I saw who it was.
So art for me was great, I really enjoyed the colours and style of it really reminded me of da capo for some reasons though and kanon. So for me it was very nostalgic I really enjoyed it too, so was the music it was light and went well with the show. Character design was a big plus for me so that was a great thing too.
So overall, for me it was hard getting into but I eventually did and it was a good pass time to watch this. I defo recommend it to you guys so give it a go.

So hello there, I know I haven't been updating my blog lately but no worries I have lots to say! So starting off I will review this wonderful Spring 08 anime that I think people should consider. I did a lot of throwbacks a couple of months ago I watched and read alot so I hope these reviews just give you a jist of what I loved about it.
Kure-nai, is probably the endearing Anime you could watch. As a Manga its a bit more in depth and darker with a lot of action involved. I really enjoyed the Manga to the point where I was disappointed it finished but the Anime itself is a beautiful series that didnt follow the Manga alot but made it a bit more unique.
The animation of Kure-nai, grips you because it's so vivid and fresh with the style. It's cute because all the characters are lovely and colourful. It covers up the lack of character development the Anime lacked but it's not so bad if you've read the Manga it explains alot and you find out the more inner stories so don't let it bug you too much if the Anime didnt rock your boat.
The story is really good, its a slice of life anime style which kind of leads a young girl into finding out the real world. At first I thought it would be dark and depressing which isn't so bad because most Animes are too colorful. This is just a right format for me they didnt dwell on the darkness too much but added it in with a hint of action here and there. The relationship between the characters and interactions between Murasaki and Shinkorou helps make the story come closer in some sense. However the Manga is a bit more thorough with the characters and there is a lot more back story towards it as well. There is a lot of drama but it's a good turn which makes the show more thrilling, it's a love or hate Anime.The music was very upbeat in some sense, it was really sweet as well.
Its a show that not everyone will like I presume, but it's one of those feel good Anime that make you want to try it out. It's nothing spectacular but it hold a little heart into the show. It's not a long series so you might be done within a day or so but it's a good way to look into a new set of shows with a varied genre. To be fair if you read the Manga first then watch the show you will not be disappointed, the Manga was a bit more better than the Anime and held on to the amazing development of the characters. The Manga was a bit more true to making the series be a good one but failed when they developed the Anime but it's not a big fail its a good fail as in, the Anime itself was not bounded by the Manga too much to make it a bit more memorable for me.
So give it a go test it out and write about how it went.

American casting for 'Hana Yori Dango' (Boys Over Flowers) TV series receives harsh Japanese criticism
Can you believe this? You guys got to read the link It seems pretty legit. Here is another segment to DopesRates! Welcome, I guess you guy can tell by the initial reaction that I am surprised. I am really surprised the American TV studio will show this in November if I am correct. As stated on the link above, I guess what I wanted to tell people was, how do you find this?
Does it feel like it will ruin it? Or do you feel like it's going to help Japan gain more and more interest in their overseas viewers of dramas. Especially for originals?
Hana Yori Dango (Boys before flowers by Yoko Kamio), is a hit Tv drama that was playing in Japan, during 2005. It was a major hit, the Manga and Anime itself was produced before the live action came out. Although unbeknown to other fans, people got to love the show either way. The actors themselves were very much linked to the characters to the Manga itself specifically chosen.
For me to see something like this puts me ill at ease. Not in a bad way, we can go on forever with the argument of copyright and adaptions of movies, tvs, music. So forth, and it goes on and endless list as I see it, but isn't it all a waste to see such budget on something amazing and too see it turned down, low ratings and crumbled. Not even remembering what we even had the right to watch in the first place, it seems like a lot of fans are not so happy with this.
Well for me, I guess, I want to see how it turns out I don't mind. However the essecence of Hana Yori Dango for me will be engraved very deeply. As a person who loves anything foreign and sticks to originals this is very difficult to comprehend. It's a show yes, but you know how people ruin your favorite shirt with sauce and how easy it will be to clean out, yeah people. THIS show will never leave my memory it will always be there I can't even clean it out. So I need to watch this and see if I will cringe or cry or smile and nod or appreciate this new drama series.
It all depends I guess, for me this is something huge!
DopeRates this is a show I am willing to overlook that its an adaption of a favorite drama of mine, but I will give it a try. Harsh criticisms will be well endowed with this series, I hope it doesn't disappoint.
DopesRates, the actors and fellow actresses must appeal to me, but I can overlook this if they can act very well. No matter what, I need them to act properly each scene in the original is like gold, so I hope the adaption can live up to it. The crying scenes is what makes it worth while to judge too. I need real tears people not fake!
So my final conclusion, I shall wait it out watch it and decide what I think. This be known that in my gut I know they will butcher the show, but I will overlook this if the storyline is followed through with good acting. What do you guys think? You think this is going to be good or what, or has American TV took another famous things of Japan and will smoulder it?
