Synopsis -
Hidenori Goto: a cop who found out the true identity of "the superhero" by a strange twist of fate and thus constantly gets in trouble thanks to Hazama, the superhero.
This is the story of the birth of a true hero featuring these two young men with a touch of comedy and serious drama, while they come face to face with hardships as they search for the true meaning of becoming a hero of justice in this world!
Dopes Say ~
Well for starters, its a very strange anime which I can't complain about as anime in general are supposed to be strange. Despite its strange appearances and very through like story it's actually got a lot of twists and turns which gets me to start talking about it. Its about a eccentric guy whose a wannabe superhero and a part time model (amusingly) and then you got the ever so hot looking cop who doesn't take crap from anyone and has a very important role in the story. The story paces all over the place and is very erratic but it plays out well in the end.
Dopes rates -
First visuals are very good, I really enjoyed them I loved the art style which suited the show in general I don't think it would have suited the show if it was in a style of (K-on, claymore etc.) it had a specific style to it which I enjoyed. The sounds were good, it blended in well with the story and the opening and ending of the show was great, im a huge FLOW fan so it was well worth it to be in the show as eccentric as this. The characters were to be fair as solid as they can be, you got the main masayoshi who has heroism problems, then you got hidenori who can tolerate so much as a average joe. What I enjoyed about the characters were the interaction between Masa and Mari (the girl ranger) sense of justice and the way they dealt with everything two sides of everything. Also to point out Sugita Tomokazu's voice makes me go weak in the knees so when Goto spoke I was grinning alot!
Dopes dislikes ~
Ok well to be blunt, there was some bits in the animation that were a bit choppy but I wouldn't hold it out, there was some characters who I wished could have spread out a bit more and have more time. It had 22 episodes it did what it could, the pace was really quick so I had to stop at some point to figure out what I was watching. (Not that it could happen to a lot maybe its just me)

Dopes Conclusion -
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it, don't let the images fool you as a anime as strange as this it did lack in some area but it was still as good. It was a tongue in cheek comedy which is great if you like it, I liked the plot but it did change later on which was difficult to get back into as it was so fast paced I was a bit lost. But in general it was a good anime and worth the watch, I love the power ranger style to it, there was some emotional sides to the story and really conflicting sides too. I'm also a superhero fan so for me I really liked it but it could have improved more.

PostHeaderIcon Blood Lad - ( ̄O ̄)ノオハー

Type: TV
Episodes: 10
Status: Finished Airing
Aired: Jul 8, 2013 to Sep 9, 2013
Producers: Brains Base, Kadokawa Shoten, Viz MediaL, The Klock Worx, flying DOG
Genres: Comedy, Demons, Vampire,Supernatural, Seinen
Duration: 24 min. per episode
Rating: PG-13 - Teens 13 or older

Synopsis
Staz is the vampire boss of a section of the demon world, but he has little interest in human blood. He's more infatuated with Japanese culture. When he learns that Yanagi Fuyumi, a Japanese teenage girl, accidentally wanders into the demon city, he jumps to the occasion. However, while Staz deals with an intruder on his turf, the oblivious Fuyumi is killed by a monster of the same type and becomes a wandering ghost. The disappointed Staz vows to Fuyumi that he will find a way to bring her back to life.

Dopes Says ~
The show was great! I was so glad it became an Anime I thought wow it finally came and now, Staz is a serious Otaku if you haven't gathered and when he see's Fuyumi a part of him goes wild. Not with thirst which is surprise but with amazement that a human girl is in his room and comes from Japan itself. So you can see what happens next when all hell breaks loose (no puns intended as they are based in hell haha!) and Fuyumi is chewed up to become a ghost. Staz vows to bring her back but for his pastime or in general?

Dopes Rates -
I would give the animation a boost I love it, I think its quite different it's nice to see a darker theme become hilarious with pleasant colours. Although there was more to be portrayed it was great for what they had. I think the characters were well addressed Staz especially, of course for a 10 episode Anime they did pretty well, it was like a introduction to Blood lad in general the first 10 episodes nothing in depth or so. The sound was great it was enjoyable and how it changed between characters. The comedy was good I wouldn't say laugh out loud way it was a mere giggle for me but it made me smile was worth it.

Dopes dislikes ~
Well it was 10 episodes so that was my first problem, although the manga is still running which I have read. I wanted a bit more! What's underwhelming was the action part of the show which just mainly showed the comedy side. But the actions were done nice but there wasn't enough so it wasn't a mind blowing Anime if anyone was looking for it.

Dopes Conclusion -
Well for starters Blood lad is a non typical vampire story, so if anyone wants to watch it for the original vamp style dont be mislead by the title of the show. The Anime wasn't mind blowing but it was worth the watch, the show presents Staz a mere otaku rather than a vampire that he is. So its different and very sweet, dont be fooled by the actions there isn't much, however dont let that stop you. Blood Lad is a classic example of taking a typical genre type and applying a twist on it. It didn't impress me too much but I really did enjoy it but wish there could have been more.

From the light novel series written by Minase Hazuki, comes a story of love, action, and comedy. Yachi Haruaki is a high school boy who is naturally resistant to curses. After his father sends him a mysterious black cube, Haruaki awakes to find a nude girl named Fear standing in his kitchen. She’s the human form of the cursed black cube – and an instrument of torture! Utilizing her special abilities, Fear fights alongside Haruaki to defeat other cursed instruments and their owners.

Where do I begin, i loved to say how impressed I was with this anime, visually and all. It was well interesting for me what sucked me in I remember was the title itself and the plotline. I was so glad I had watched it too, I had rewatched the series and thought oh why not again. I was really glad I watched it again I found that it's not what it seems by the images.

Take for instance Fear is not just a cute girl, she herself has a hidden depth along with other several characters. Her scenes are very sentimental and its what made the show good too. I really enjoyed the aspect of the childhood friend shes not just a normal girl either shes a badass too. So it starts of all comical before it becomes serious hence the 17 plus rating it makes it worthwhile to watch too.

The art is so basic simple looking for a visual novel, its classic so I really adore it. The music had two sets first time too and it was worth it I really liked the songs. And overall I think its a must watch we learn the metaphor for the word *fear* in the show so see if you can figure it out!

Ill leave with some songs

Miyagawa Atsushi is an 11-year-old boy who is 180 centimeters tall. Since he has a grown-up looking build but acts his age, he has always been running into troubles. On the other hand, his 17-year-old elder sister Atsumi is only 137 centimeters tall. Even though she has a childish looking build, Atsumi takes good care of Atsushi.

As I recalled when I watched this Anime, it was a very interesting one! Its about siblings who dont look their size and age! Quite amusing really because the kid slash guy is really good looking till you realise what age he is and makes it hilarious.

Its a really quick watch, and despite having really good art and sounds I found it very short. Each episode is 3 minutes long, regardless the show has very funny moments of having Atsushi in positions of a pedophile because of his sister there's a lot of misunderstandings. I can't help but be amused by it, I promise you it's a very good especially for a short anime.

mind you it might not be for everyone's taste. But I assure you its a cute one that fills in small gaps no joke!

As for Re, its the same as the rest short and simple with more jokes in between and the only difference from the first is that the second focused more on the siblings activities.

As for Mi, I am actually disappointed it took a huge dive, the animation and screenplay its sad. They weren't as detailed as possible, I expected a bit more but it did play well the jokes were overused but it was still a laugh. There is a few more introduction for more characters but like again if you want a short anime this is one for you.

I'll leave you with some songs ~

Kakeru Aizawa is the younger brother to Suguru Aizawa, a soccer prodigy belonging to Japan's under–15 national team. Prior to the series, Kakeru quits his position as a forward after a traumatic experience prevented him from playing with his left leg and settles for a managerial position. After the two are hit by a truck, Suguru dies and has his heart transplanted into Kakeru. With it, Kakeru returns to football to achieve his brother's dream of winning the World Cup.

Short and simple, I havent done this in a while so I want to keep it clean and sweet! So here I go. Area no kishi, if you are a sports fan then this is a must for you. Its a very good show which has very developed characters and it's not just the characters that's well written, Its also a very good plotline.

The series has great art work and personality they are great players who are lacking something and try to regain that. Its quite realistic in some parts but kind of strange in the other. What I mean is it has a fun vibe to it, it's not like POT(prince of tennis) with over exaggeration but its still fun to watch.

The story is based on Kakeru who becomes an underdog for the soccer team with a hidden talent. Although I did find it annoying how it kept going back and forth on Suguru and how much he was awesome and so forth. But its still good to know that from Idolising his older brother he became better for the best of it. Lets just point out that most of the part in the series there is a human drama factor to it. It's also very much worth watching so give it a try.

I only caught up to some Anime recently so hopefully Ill get to review more :D

I'll leave you with some songs for now!

The story centers on Koyomi Araragi, a third year high school student who has recently survived a vampire attack, and finds himself mixed up with all kinds of apparitions: gods, ghosts, myths, and spirits.

Where do I start, the monogatari series is probabaly the most intesnse, confusing but very much lively series you could possibly enjoy and be enteretained with. What I mean is, it's hard to just pick one to describe so I joined the ones I could or have been released and talk about it.

SHAFT" once again shows us their ability to create both a product and a masterpiece. The Monogatari series, in its entirety, can be considered a piece of art. However this piece of art may not be everyone cup a tea, It deserves to be watched by everyone.

The monogatari series are great with intense action and intricate story lines custom made for every character. The main characters of 'Monogatari' are among the most unique and complex I have yet to encounter.
Senjougahara Hitagi is a tsundere like half of all modern heroines in anime our protagonist, as expected, is rather on the masochist side who takes constant verbal abuse from Senjougahara.Fanservice has always been a bit of a controversial issue. Some love it, some hate all instances of it. There's really no way to please everybody when the reaction can often be like or not liked.

The art work was abstract to the point where it probabaly may confuse people but it was intense, I really enjoyed watching the show because the creation towards the art was supremely good. Lovely line and form, vibrant colors and a superb art of storytelling await as you continue to delve into the tales surrounding Koyomi Araragi and his friends. I wasn't too big of the sound department some may like it but some may not of course im in the dont section it wasn't so bad though.

Overall, I would like to point out that majority of the time you will be lost in the translation they do talk very very fast. In fact I was a bit lost as well, so your best option is to keep a open mind and just understand as much as possible. You need to understand that you have to give this show a bit of time before you continue at first you may think what the hell it is as a reaction. But it is not a problem the witty dialogue and intriguing characters that the previous Bake and Nise have already established. I still think overall the whole series it's a great thing to be watched, I am a huge fan of Hanekawa I still think she deserved to be with Araragi but you know the creators. It's not so bad, but I think for me the most awesome was Hanekawa and her stories along with his sisters but each to their own.

So here are some music I will leave you with, if you havent it's a must watch so get to it! ~

Set in the Shinigami technical school for weapon meisters, the series revolves around 3 groups of each a weapon meister and a human weapon. Trying to make the latter a "Death Scythe" which is the highest title for a weapon and thus fit for use by the Shinigami, they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch.

Soul Eater is probabaly the most amazing Anime to watch. It's a Anime with great characters and plotline its so original it hurts.

The story starts off with Maka and Black star and Death the kidd. Three main meisters who help the shinigami world. This is probably the most unique story I've ever seen and read. The Manga does so much more justice than the Anime. There is a deeper story within Soul Eater and it grows in each episode and Manga. Let me just say how I generally felt when I saw that the Manga had ended for me that was a turning point. It was sad, it ended with a good note but I've waited so long for more, I enjoyed the development of the Manga to the point where I couldn't stop reading. The Manga explained things in more details and showed things more than the Anime.

But the Manga ended now, its' been a long time I remember reading it the first time and I fell in love with it. Now that it ended I feel like a era had ended. A piece of me will always love and remember Soul Eater i wanted so much more with this show I wish it continued. The downfall of the show was not showing Maka's mother I mean not even a glimpse we could have seen who the other holder was. I wont give too much away but if I were you I would totally read it. Its a great manga with a lot of action and individual moments, like Black star and Tsubaki moments, along with Patty and Liz and Kidd moments. It was sweet, the best relationship I enjoyed like everyone else was Soul and Maka of course but the side characters kind of blew me away in the Manga. They were just as important as the main thats what i loved about Soul Eater it was a all rounder. Its a shame it's ended though I would have hoped more would come like most shounen but it's good it ended on a good note rather than dragging.

The Characters are all vibrant and very much interesting with different unique styles Black star is probably the most strongest and cutest character alive, along with Death the Kidd and his symmetrical views. I'm totally in love with the Grim reaper he was hands down the best. The Animation is different which as a Illustrator I love I think its pretty cool the way the creator did the art and so forth. Its all strange and amazing the scenery are interesting and I love the fact that the moon and sun are so weird looking. The songs are so memorable and the plot line extends to a point where you have to love it.

overall, Soul Eater is underrated with some people yes the Anime didnt do that much justice to the Manga but in one set its probably awesome still. I love that there was no fillers and that it kept up the consistency of the show itself. The Manga was the same of course but in depth, I loved how the side characters were huge in the Manga and Anime it was lovely to see lovable side characters. I loved watching it I thought it was better than most Anime how side characters dont get much showtime. I also know there is a Soul Eater Not! coming out soon, Anime the Manga is of course on going but no worries it will soon fall into place. There are different characters but I heard Maka will make an entrance and etc. I hope so anyway.

So give it a go if you havent watched or read it, I shall leave you with some songs ~

Sypnosis ~
Kill Me Baby is the touching story of Yasuna, a normal (?) high school girl, and Sonya, her best friend who happens to be an assassin. Unfortunately, little Sonya's trained assassin instincts often work against her and others in her daily high school life, as Yasuna's often-broken wrist can attest to. She just wanted a hug, but she ended up with a broken neck. Isn't it sad? No, it's hilarious.

So before I go into detail I wanted to mention that at first I thought Yasuna was a boy (it looks so much like a boy) then I realised this was a comedy with two girls! It was at first a shocked then I got over it. To me this is a show that focused on two girls and the shenanigans they got up to. I would like to point out that this show could mix with some people and not with others. For me it was a bit of both, I liked it some things were funny to me and some weren't so much.

The animation to me was medicore, it wans't great but it's a comedy i dont think they meant to have a specific style for comedy or do they? Well I did love that it was a colourful plotline with colourful characters too. It was just basically a gag after the other and just developed a bit. The animation was fluid and it was good, it flowed in nicely.

The songs killed me (no pun intended) but it was hilariously good. I loved the opening and ending I thought the ending was too hilarious. I could repeat it over and over probably one of the great things about the show to me was the ending. The characters were all endearing I really liked the main two characters but to me it wasn't anything else I could describe with them, I mean as the slapstick went on to me it was just a simple comedy.

Overall, you just need patience to actually watch this Anime. To me it wasn't overly great but it was good in some ways where I can probably have a few memorable scenes to remember by. However there were the dry and sad jokes that I didnt find too funny but it was cute enough that they tried. So whoever wants to watch it of course it might be your cup of tea but I know it wasn't mine. Some comedies arent right for me and I knew sadly this one wasnt but I still watched it to see what the hype was about with some people. Its good worth the 20 mins but its a slow uptake for me. So give it a go if you want and see how it is yourself.

I shall leave you with some songs ~

Tadakuni, Hidenori, and Yoshitake are students at the all-boys academy, Sanada North High School. This is a tale about just that—their daily lives as students. Winning the basketball tournament? Finding true love? You won't find any of that here. Whether it's sparking random arguments while hanging out with friends, meeting that one weird co-worker at a part-time job, or even letting imaginations run wild on a windy afternoon, we've all experienced the show's ordinary but true-to-life themes at one point or another.

At first I wasn't too sure for this Anime but now I do not regret watching it, this was probabaly the most entertatining Anime I saw so for this year. It was filled with so much that I can't even begin to describe but I will. So here it goes,
~It had humour, as in hilarious jokes and situations that fell on the boys
~It was a role reversal Anime so it didnt focus on girls this time it was the boys, which to me was more entertaining

This show exceeded what I thought was a bomb but turned out to be even better. It was a all male cast which was better than having a all female cast all the time. The situations fell on the boys like it would do normally for the girls but it made it more different rather than generic. Its what the title said it's what a boy does daily as in irrational boys. Although as a fellow illustrator the art wasn't so great to me but it was decent enough to watch which was good, but the show made it up with the characters and expressions on their faces while doing the skits. I really enjoyed those parts where I know I can laugh at the dumbness of the show but still love the art.

The music wasn't anything to write home about so it wasn't so bad. As for the characters they were all lovable to me, I really enjoyed the exaggerations and the simple play on way of having one odd guy being the target. It's a solid comedy that made me laugh out for some bits, it's pretty hard to get a decent comedy which doesn't make you laugh but this really did tickle some funny bones for me.

Overall, for me this is just a show that reminded me of what I used to do in high school. It's pretty crazy but some stuff I actually did do similar things. But its one of those shows for me that's pretty memorable I guess in a sense of having a decent comedy skit to it and the plot lines weren't even expanded or serious. It was just plain fun, so if I were you guys I would give this baby a go and see what I mean by finding it hilarious I totally recommend it.

So here are some music ~

Synopsis -
Shinkurō Kurenai is already both a master of an arcane martial art and an experienced professional mediator with a long track record of resolving disputes. Sixteen-year-old Shinkurō Kurenai, a specialist in settling squabbles between people, is one day approached by his employer with the daughter of a powerful plutocratic family asking him to be her bodyguard.

So hello there, I know I haven't been updating my blog lately but no worries I have lots to say! So starting off  I will review this wonderful Spring 08 anime that I think people should consider. I did a lot of throwbacks a couple of months ago I watched and read alot so I hope these reviews just give you a jist of what I loved about it.

Kure-nai, is probably the endearing Anime you could watch. As a Manga its a bit more in depth and darker with a lot of action involved. I really enjoyed the Manga to the point where I was disappointed it finished but the Anime itself is a beautiful series that didnt follow the Manga alot but made  it a bit more unique.

The animation of Kure-nai, grips you because it's so vivid and fresh with the style. It's cute because all the characters are lovely and colourful. It covers up the lack of character development the Anime lacked but it's not so bad if you've read the Manga it explains alot and you find out the more inner stories so don't let it bug you too much if the Anime didnt rock your boat.

The story is really good, its a slice of life anime style which kind of leads a young girl into finding out the real world. At first I thought it would be dark and depressing which isn't so bad because most Animes are too colorful. This is just a right format for me they didnt dwell on the darkness too much but added it in with a hint of action here and there. The relationship between the characters and interactions between Murasaki and Shinkorou helps make the story come closer in some sense. However the Manga is a bit more thorough with the characters and there is a lot more back story towards it as well. There is a lot of drama but it's a good turn which makes the show more thrilling, it's a love or hate Anime. The music was very upbeat in some sense, it was really sweet as well.

Its a show that not everyone will like I presume, but it's one of those feel good Anime that make you want to try it out. It's nothing spectacular but it hold a little heart into the show. It's not a long series so you might be done within a day or so but it's a good way to look into a new set of shows with a varied genre. To be fair if you read the Manga first then watch the show you will not be disappointed, the Manga was a bit more better than the Anime and held on to the amazing development of the characters. The Manga was a bit more true to making the series be a good one but failed when they developed the Anime but it's not a big fail its a good fail as in, the Anime itself was not bounded by the Manga too much to make it a bit more memorable for me.

So give it a go test it out and write about how it went.
I will leave you guys with some songs ~

PostHeaderIcon Tonari no Kaibutsu-Kun (My little monster) ヾ(´▽`*;)ゝ"

  • Full Title:Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (My little monster)
  • Genre: Romance, Comedy
  • Length: Television series, 13 episodes, 24 minutes
  • Anime Studio:  TV Tokyo, TVO, TVh, TSC, TVA, TVQ
  • Director:  Hiro Kaburaki
  • Original Creator: Robico
 Sypnosis
My Little Monster is a 13-episode anime produced by Brain's Base, based on a manga by Robico. It first aired in 2012. My Little Monster focuses on the relationship between Shizuku Mizutani, who has absolutely no interests except in studying and her plans for the future, and a boy named Haru Yoshida, who sits next to Shizuku in class but rarely attends school. After Shizuku is tasked with delivering class printouts to Haru's home, she meets Haru, who immediately greets her as a friend, starting their new relationship.

Well, first of it starts off with a dispassionate school girl called Shizuku Mizutani, she has no friends, hobbies whatsoever. In other words she just wants to study, she finds it unbelievable and very irritating that their is a guy who keeps getting the number 1 spot and never turns up to school. It happens to be her classmate Haru Yoshida. She manages to give homework prinouts to this guy the same guy who keeps beating up at the top for number 1. And thus how their journey begins, a crazy child called Haru and a very dull and lifeless girl called Shizuku.

Without realising, Shizuku happens to stumble into a lot of crazy circumstances. That is beyond her emotional level. She manages to engage and not engage in the most impossible way, she tries to get on with life, but with Haru her responsibility and her first friend. It comes to a point where she doesnt know where she stands. As the two young misfits gradually become acquainted and make new friends, they find themselves confronting things about each other and themselves that might have been better left buried.

If there's one word to describe the visuals of this series, it's colorful. The backgrounds and character designs are bright and lively, the music is cute and so and so. It wasn't too crazy or too upbeat, it was just right for the show, to show off the dramatic sense at moments as well, and to show of the more cute moments of the show.

For me this was a show that I really enjoyed. I found it super cute how the male lead wasn't broody or a male egotistic showoff. It was great to see Haru as a child like personality, bright and bubbly. And laughter and making friends is something awesome. Which was the complete opposite of Shizuku and I like that Shizuku was the loner girl this time, but with Haru next to her she was barely alone. She was always with someone. Her lack of personality made up with Haru. It was like a child with no feelings, she wasn't sure of this new environment and what to do and that was what made me love My little monster. Her relationships with everyone made me smile, she was going into a new place learning new things, the life of human emotions!

Overall, it ended way to quick for me, they built it up to a point where you get into it and then stop halfway which caused me to groan in annoyance. But nevertheless I really loved the Manga that gave it a bit more justice to the story. I was hoping for more for My little monster, but I think so far this is what we will get. The great thing about this show was the character build up, it was strong and believable so it wasn't too hard not get into it. The couples of the shows were unexpected but you know it's what made My little monster great! I really enjoyed Haru and Shizuku, thought at some point I want to knock their heads together. They get into silly fights and moments and then apologize, little by little Shizuku is expressing more and more and thats what I found beautiful.

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun has 12 volumes but only 10 have been translated so far, and they are on chapter 44. Here is a slight little glimpse for the Manga if no one else has started reading or watching. It's pretty underrated like Kamisama Kiss, but I think it would have been the most cutest Rom-com if it had been longer.

I shall leave you with some music now! ENJOY!
