Dope says ~

My mad Fat Diary has got to be the most beautiful-lest show I have ever watched! To me these 3 seasons have meant so much more watching this show than anything. I don’t know about anyone else but we get to see how an individual copes with situations and an illness they face. Although things could be debated with all this as it’s a very taboo topic amongst peers, but I’m not going into that I am just going to express my views on this show.

Dopes rates –

Where do I start, Rae Earl (Sharon Rooney) played by probably the most influential and dramatic actress ever. I cannot express what it means to me to see a person who can act so well that made it so believable. Rae Earl is the most typical girl anyone could imagine, expect she has an illness of course as the show goes on it progresses to the point of finding herself and going out the big bad world. For three seasons I have stuck by Rae Earl cheering her on, feeling her pain because let’s be honest we all felt like her really to that point. It’s a maddening experience for some but I was super happy to see Rae Earl moves away from all that she becomes someone who grew up and I feel like I did so with her!

The characters in the show, all individuals with the same problem and had a more different approach to how Rae did it, we all know that the connection between Rae and Chloe was the highlight of the show. For me it was the icing on the cake how desperate one can get to confide. Although her connection with her other friends deliver in a nice was as well, Rae didn’t realize it but she was of course the glue that stuck them together honestly. I feel like the music was also the other highlight too, it had hands down one of the best music too! And the artistic delivery with the shots with all scenes the dramatic approach to situations and the animation filled in from Rae’s diary it all fit in and is so memorable.

Dopes dislikes ~

Debatable about the show but I don’t want to say anything that can get me hate!
However I will add that I didn't like the short episodes! But it worked in their favour!

Dopes conclusion –

Overall one of the best shows ever to give on E4 with a few flaws, I don’t think I have ever been so happy about seeing thing. I remember waiting every night to give it and I was so happy for Monday to arrive. I am a huge fan of this show and the actors that play them too, for me it was like a revelation to something new. I faced a similar situation to Rae but of course I have gotten out of it and I know some people can’t but I feel like this is a good show stating that and it delivered and I couldn’t be happier. Every emotion was like a roller-coaster in the show because we realise that not everyone is perfect so hands down MY MAD FAT DIARY should so be awarded! So give it a watch people you will not be disappointed!

Well it’s sad to say goodbye to a great show but we must move on I hope something else comes out what will my Monday be like now! (T__T) ~

Sypnosis ~
When a group of friends decide to make a movie over a long summer holiday, they end up learning a little about filmmaking and a lot more about each other and themselves. What begins as a simple way to avoid the summer doldrums quickly turns into something much more complex, intimate and revealing, as the maturing relationships between the members of the young cast take on new, and sometimes very unexpected, turns.

This series was similar to Onegai series, and I really love the authour who makes them. I think its blisfful to see Animes like this. It really took me back to the Onegai series. I was so happy to see something a bit similar of course it wasnt too same but it was lovely.
The story focuses on a group who are developing a movie in walks in the beautiful Ichika (funny enough the author is called I*chi*ka cut right?) she is the female lead. So the story heads out in all directions where love triangles are formed, unrequited love, confessions and even a little love from a MIB (men in black) which got me laughing.

The art was just on point really nice and colorful. It was vibrant and I really enjoyed looking at it, along with the songs and the characters. The characters for a 12 episode Anime had been on point, it was developed well and in the end it was shown to be joined very well. They wrapped up the show really well within the limit they had, what I hated was the 'childhood' friend where just all of a sudden they can pop in and take away a love interest. It was so cliched and I really would have liked something different but I enjoyed it because it didnt turn out how it was supposed to be. Although I did feel like they were leftovers.

Each character was so interesting, one nudist, one playboy, one tomboy and a nerd with a beauty. Typical but it was lovely to see a nudist (that made me laugh). To think they exist but it was interesting to see it in a Anime you know something that caught me off guard.

Overall you would definitely love this Anime if you enjoyed the Onegai series. However it has a open ending so some might find that irritating dont let that get to you. It's worth the watch and entertainment. Its a sweet Anime that fills you with a lot of summery feelings. So if you can remember to give it a go and see what I mean its so nostalgic it makes me await for summer all the time.

I shall leave you with some songs ~

Quiet and unassuming Mei Tachibana is 16-years-old, but has spent her high school years without making friends or getting a boyfriend because of a childhood incident that left her believing that people will betray each other sooner or later. When she encounters a popular boy named Yamato Kurosawa he becomes interested in her, and it is through their tentative friendship and blossoming relationship that Mei ultimately begins to branch out and befriend others.

So here is another shoujo, ive been dreaming to write about. As the title conveys "Say, I love you" it's pretty much sums the storyline up. It's a really good Anime and Manga, especially to those who love romance like I do as well. The thing with this Anime was, that it was dramatic. It was very good in that sense, It starts off with Mei Tachibana, a very quiet girl who minds her own business, until of course when A friend of Yamato's lifts her skirt up while going up the stairs, does she do a roundhouse kick and knocks Yamato of his feet. It was a sudden attack and it really drew me in.

Say, I love you. Is probably branched as a simple romance with dramas. You know boy gets girl, girl anxious and so forth. However the difference is, the girl actually talks back to the girl and tells him how she feels. Maybe not entirely all the time someone has to have something happen or slap sense to people to realise how Mei felt. A girl with no friends and suddenly she helps out many but can never admit her own anxiety. Is telling you how difficult it is for her, however with Mei and this series she grows exceptionally all her fears are tackled and one thing she doesnt lose sight of is Yamato himself. He is the typical jealous male, and when Kai comes in boy that is a sight to see. Although the great thing about another character loving Mei is that she was oblivious and wasn't sure about her own feelings. She was still learning to love, and accept. With Kai she felt a connection, and that is what riled Yamato up. But the best thing was in the end she was still with Yamato.

There was also the determination and development to get someone whom they love, but taking a long time to get them. It was very notable in the series, i loved the story of Yamato's older brother and his girlfriend it was sweet and so sad, it shows that love is unexplainable and can be unexpected and leave you with so many emotions. All the charcters are interesting with a amazing background and how they overcome it, with the help of Mei of course. It was a solid romance with a stable pacing, they weren't too overdramatic or anything it was just right.

The music itself was interesting, soft and melodic and simple. While the animation could not be everyone's taste I am guessing. I really liked it, it was a good visual for me. There hairstyle was awesome as well, specifically Yamato's. I would totally recommend this series for 13 episodes and 24 minutes it summed up the show pretty well and didnt leave anything behind. However of course if people want to continue do read the Manga, I am sure they wont be making a second season although we can only hope right?

Sukitte Ii Na Yo has 10 volumes and 41 chapters so far, I hope this picture will get you to check it out.

I think they are very cute together, they make me smile alot. We all wish something like this right? I hope it happens to everyone, I guess "Love" isn't perfect but we can always try to make the best of it. Enjoy the music I will post up! Did I mention how much I adore Suneohair! <3
