Synopsis:

At the request of his older sister, student Hōtarō Oreki joins Kamiyama High School's Classic Literature Club to stop it from being abolished, joined by fellow members Eru Chitanda, Satoshi Fukube and Mayaka Ibara. The story is set in Kamiyama City, a fictional city in Gifu Prefecture that the author based on his real hometown of Takayama, also in Gifu. The fictional Kamiyama High School is based upon the real life Hida High School.

Can I just express how awesome the name "Hyoka" is and how clever! It's so good in a sense of a mediocre series with a lot of lovable characters and a simple plot. It's a light mystery that makes us feel fuzzy and warm. It's animation is similar to K-ON if people do not know and it's probably the most slow paced but interesting series I have enjoyed.

The series follows four members, and how they pass theories and gather theories together to solve a mystery but in the end it is Hotaro who completes it. He is very clever but so laid back, he insists he wanted a normal and lazy life is out turned by Chitanda. Also I love the names, it's so different and funny to say. Although the characters you may find bland and so overused, I really loved how Chitanda's character had a romantic worldview compared to the others. For me she made the show worth the watch as she got into the mysteries. She enjoys fixing the mysteries with everyone and it's pretty cute to see that. Major points for presentation on details of the whole show I found that amazing!

The art and sound play a really big role towards achieving the overall effect on the watcher. The background art is darker and the sky is more grey. Just these two points themselves bring a heavy effect of seriousness to the series, letting the one watching know that he/she shouldn't be expecting much comedy or sweetness through the series. For me I had figured when it was serious and when it was less serious by just those two things. I really found that really good for a pin point. I really enjoyed the mysteries, especially the one about Chitanda's uncle which was surprisingly sweet and sad. I love the animal representation of the whole thing itself which made me feel even sadder.

The whole show is very calm and you could tell that it's a calm series, with a serious of light heartiness and simple emotions. Although some might complain that the mysteries are mundane. For me they were perfect, be it more serious I would think it was trying to copy detective conan, was it any less I would think it was a comedy. But fair is the show is a perfect harmony with the characters. For me this is as best I could represent the whole show.

Overall it was enjoyable and simply cute, it's calm and light and the comedy is there too. Its even better to watch since they have four main characters rather than a whole lot. For me they develop the characters in a sense where we actually see where their viewpoints are, and how they feel about finishing this mystery solving. So people give "Hyoka" a go and see if you like it yourself or not.

I shall leave you with some songs ~

synopsis:

Haruyuki "Haru" Arita is a short, fat boy who is constantly bullied at the Umesato Junior High School which results in him having exceptionally low self-esteem. To escape the torment of real life, he logs onto the school's Local Network where he plays squash by himself and always gets the highest scores. One day, he checks the squash rankings to find his high score beaten by Kuroyukihime, the popular and attractive female Student Council Vice-President, who invites him to lunch the next day after she saved him from some bullies. Here Kuroyukihime introduces Haruyuki to Brain Burst, a secret program that is able to accelerate the human cognitive process to the point at which time appears to stop.

Ok, so here I am with another 2012 list of Anime, and I am glad to write about this. As my first impression of Accel World was of the character itself! Can you believe it? I mean for once it wasnt the typical good looking guy and so forth, it was a meek and timid guy called Haru who got my attention in this. To think his own appearance is what attracted me the most, and the Animation itself was one to look forward to.

The Anime itself was a fast paced and very informative show, that I really enjoyed. To be exact it's one of the fews that had me gripped, it was a fair battled amongst everyone and that as a battle it was determined who will win and not. The back story of all the characters were fresh and seen perfectly in tune with the series there was no plot holes. Everything was literally there in a silver platter, and i was really enjoying it. The music was amazing to the point where I cried with happiness. It was well tuned with the whole emotive presence of the characters themselves.

Of course with bullying comes the basis for Accel World which is overcoming painful experiences, making Haruyuki the perfect candidate for the protagonist of the series being labeled the school's biggest loser. The entire show is centered around a game program called Brain Burst, which is built on both the strengths and weaknesses of the human mind. Thus when introduced to the program by the lovely Kuroyukihime, our protagonist is given a means of coping with his lackluster life. Like many who are not terribly successful in the real world, Haruyuki clearly excels in the fantasy worlds, and it was Kuroyukihime's recognition of this fact that led her to him in the first place.

This show is the basis of Haru, overcoming his self pitiable appearance and actually having goals. He has in mind to overcome difficulties with the help of friends of  course Kuroyukihime too. Who also becomes the biggest pillar of his support and affection. It seems the second part of the show shows that his ability and confidence takes on a 180 degrees turn and you can tell that he has become stronger. It's a place where he knows he can be himself and overcome anything.

overall, people might not like this but I am sure alot I know have truly enjoyed it. It's a show where the character design was impeccable and the music too. It's something I will probably watch again when I feel like it. Its fast paced and has the emotions with it engraved. I really enjoyed this show and its a show that people should watch. Give it a go you never know what you might love about it. Of course my minor problem was of Chiyuri and Taku, I didnt really like them they seemed to hold Haru back so much and he realized it. But the other two failed at that, they felt pity instead of giving him confidence and of course until later where Chiyuri became a bit more annoying. But you know minus all that I thought Haru learnt a lot of friendship, abilities and confidence grown all around all because of one pretty lady. Gotta love that butterfly loving chick, she herself is infatuated with Haru an thats a bigger bonus to the show, meaning appearance didnt meant jack all in this show for me.

I shall leave you with some songs ~

Synopsis :

The story revolves around a first-year middle school student, Teiichi Niiya who had just enrolled at Seikyou Private Academy. When he gets lost in one of the school's old buildings, he meets a girl named Yuko Kanoe who reveals herself as a ghost with no memories. Teiichi then decides to investigate her death by looking through the school's seven mysteries revolving around her. Throughout the story, Teiichi and Yuko discover the truth about these ghost stories and help those who are troubled.

So here I go with another review, Dusk maiden of amnesia. Has got to be the most unique Anime I have ever watched. Beyond that, it's the most touching one I have seen for a 2012 line up. It's that great, so here I will begin my review. Teiichi Niiya is your average boy, well was until he could see Yuko the little ghost that haunts the school. You know the hot ghost you always want following you around and so forth. Yeah Teiichi the lucky runt has the beautiful Yuko around him. He tries to solve the seven mysteries of the the school. Only to find a more deeper filled meaning towards the ghost he happens to have near him.

probably the most thorough Anime, with an amazing plot line. The characters were defined to a extent where nothing was left out. I felt like it was great to see that it had a back story and connected so well with everything. There was no plot holes or anything, it all added up. The Anime did have a lot of nudity involved but it's normal for me. I really enjoyed the seven mysteries and the eeriness towards it and how it all connected with Yuko. To think she also has a descendant as well who also can see ghosts. Yuko has always been alone, she really misses the school and you can tell, it was seriously sad to see her. The loneliness and pain she had felt who would understand.

It was quite amazing to see that Yuko also had the hate version of her come out. That was splendid, and so real in some sense. She tries hard to forget about her past and make it into an amnesia but there's one thing you cannot forget: you can't run away from your problems like an amnesia.

Overall, it's one of the best ones I have encountered and you guys must watch it! Total fan service when you need it, with a hint of love and exceptional scenes of scenaries that you would enjoy. The music was amazing and so was the animation. The irony of the series was got to be gorgeous as well as the various well captured angles of "dusk" in this anime and the night moon skies. So good that it made me melt with happiness.

So people get watching, I shall leave you with some music now!

Synopsis :

The story is about Tamaki Kasuga who travels to a small village to visit her grandmother. While walking along this forest path, she gets attacked a bunch of evil creatures trying to take her away. She was saved by this handsome guy named Takuma Onizaki who escorts her to her grandma’s house. What starts out to be a visit turns out to be something much grand.  Her grandmother suddenly tells her that she is to live in this village as a Tamayori princess and continue the duty of protecting the seals that hides an evil being that if released can destroy the world. She also finds out that she has five handsome guys protecting her since she is now a princess. A group of suspicious people plan to break the seals though and unleash the evil from within. It looks like her life has gotten more complicated.

So here is another review on a 2012 line up, that I forgot to review about. Actually mostly I was lazy to write which is bad on my part. But here i go, this is a otome game, which I am sure everyone in the world knows by now. I just happen to love otome games. So I don't complain much about it. But as far as this Anime went, I wasn't too keen on it besides the amazing animation.

Its a reverse harem, but to me it was just a bit bland. Yeah the guys were hot to look at but it's the story that didn't deliver for me. Usually I can handle things but this bugged me a lot. I can handle Anime usually with bad storyline but this just went downhill for me. Ok maybe a bit too harsh, but the point is, they had me excited to the point of the show until they abandoned it and then bam. It's inconsistent and its mostly good to a point where you give up trying to understand.

It's pretty slow paced if you like that sort of stuff, but even if I did love slow paced shows. This was not so good and not so bad but not interesting either. How do i put my finger on it, it's worth a watch if you like the Animation or just wanted to find something about it. Or you have never watched a Harem anime before but seriously there are better ones out there. The characters were boring and for being sexy not so good in the development on it. I was just so sad to see that, usually there is one that stands out no one did. And so many plot holes. I was even more annoyed when they introduced the final guy at the end who had no plot in it until the end. Was kind of awkward and so weird to see, it was a terrible attempt to get a otome game and turn into an Anime.

However overall, people have different views some like some not. For me it would have been more better to see more development. The music is awesome but do we just sit around to see the music only? I hardly think so, do give the show a go if you feel the need but if you guys played the game and want to watch it, do so at your own peril.

PostHeaderIcon American casting for 'Hana Yori Dango' (Boys Over Flowers) TV series receives harsh Japanese criticism

American casting for 'Hana Yori Dango' (Boys Over Flowers) TV series receives harsh Japanese criticism

Hello ~

Can you believe this? You guys got to read the link It seems pretty legit. Here is another segment to DopesRates! Welcome, I guess you guy can tell by the initial reaction that I am surprised. I am really surprised the American TV studio will show this in November if I am correct. As stated on the link above, I guess what I wanted to tell people was, how do you find this?

Does it feel like it will ruin it? Or do you feel like it's going to help Japan gain more and more interest in their overseas viewers of dramas. Especially for originals?

Hana Yori Dango (Boys before flowers by Yoko Kamio),  is a hit Tv drama that was playing in Japan, during 2005. It was a major hit, the Manga and Anime itself was produced before the live action came out. Although unbeknown to other fans, people got to love the show either way. The actors themselves were very much linked to the characters to the Manga itself specifically chosen.

For me to see something like this puts me ill at ease. Not in a bad way, we can go on forever with the argument of copyright and adaptions of movies, tvs, music. So forth, and it goes on and endless list as I see it, but isn't it all a waste to see such budget on something amazing and too see it turned down, low ratings and crumbled. Not even remembering what we even had the right to watch in the first place,  it seems like a lot of fans are not so happy with this.

Well for me, I guess, I want to see how it turns out I don't mind. However the essecence of Hana Yori Dango for me will be engraved very deeply. As a person who loves anything foreign and sticks to originals this is very difficult to comprehend. It's a show yes, but you know how people ruin your favorite shirt with sauce and how easy it will be to clean out, yeah people. THIS show will never leave my memory it will always be there I can't even clean it out. So I need to watch this and see if I will cringe or cry or smile and nod or appreciate this new drama series.

It all depends I guess, for me this is something huge!

DopeRates this is a show I am willing to overlook that its an adaption of a favorite drama of mine, but I will give it a try. Harsh criticisms will be well endowed with this series, I hope it doesn't disappoint.

DopesRates, the actors and fellow actresses must appeal to me, but I can overlook this if they can act very well. No matter what, I need them to act properly each scene in the original is like gold, so I hope the adaption can live up to it. The crying scenes is what makes it worth while to judge too. I need real tears people not fake!

So my final conclusion, I shall wait it out watch it and decide what I think.  This be known that in my gut I know they will butcher the show, but I will overlook this if the storyline is followed through with good acting. What do you guys think? You think this is going to be good or what, or has American TV took another famous things of Japan and will smoulder it?

Tell me what you guys think.~

Episodes: 13

Status: Finished Airing

Aired: October 6, 2012December 30, 2012

Producers: Tokyo MX, tvk, BS11, AT-X
Duration: 24 min. per episode
Rating: PG-13 - Teens 13 or older
Manga: Kanae Hazuki

Sypnosis
Quiet and unassuming Mei Tachibana is 16-years-old, but has spent her high school years without making friends or getting a boyfriend because of a childhood incident that left her believing that people will betray each other sooner or later. When she encounters a popular boy named Yamato Kurosawa he becomes interested in her, and it is through their tentative friendship and blossoming relationship that Mei ultimately begins to branch out and befriend others.

So here is another shoujo, ive been dreaming to write about. As the title conveys "Say, I love you" it's pretty much sums the storyline up. It's a really good Anime and Manga, especially to those who love romance like I do as well. The thing with this Anime was, that it was dramatic. It was very good in that sense, It starts off with Mei Tachibana, a very quiet girl who minds her own business, until of course when A friend of Yamato's lifts her skirt up while going up the stairs, does she do a roundhouse kick and knocks Yamato of his feet. It was a sudden attack and it really drew me in.

Say, I love you. Is probably branched as a simple romance with dramas. You know boy gets girl, girl anxious and so forth. However the difference is, the girl actually talks back to the girl and tells him how she feels. Maybe not entirely all the time someone has to have something happen or slap sense to people to realise how Mei felt. A girl with no friends and suddenly she helps out many but can never admit her own anxiety. Is telling you how difficult it is for her, however with Mei and this series she grows exceptionally all her fears are tackled and one thing she doesnt lose sight of is Yamato himself. He is the typical jealous male, and when Kai comes in boy that is a sight to see. Although the great thing about another character loving Mei is that she was oblivious and wasn't sure about her own feelings. She was still learning to love, and accept. With Kai she felt a connection, and that is what riled Yamato up. But the best thing was in the end she was still with Yamato.

There was also the determination and development to get someone whom they love, but taking a long time to get them. It was very notable in the series, i loved the story of Yamato's older brother and his girlfriend it was sweet and so sad, it shows that love is unexplainable and can be unexpected and leave you with so many emotions. All the charcters are interesting with a amazing background and how they overcome it, with the help of Mei of course. It was a solid romance with a stable pacing, they weren't too overdramatic or anything it was just right.

The music itself was interesting, soft and melodic and simple. While the animation could not be everyone's taste I am guessing. I really liked it, it was a good visual for me. There hairstyle was awesome as well, specifically Yamato's. I would totally recommend this series for 13 episodes and 24 minutes it summed up the show pretty well and didnt leave anything behind. However of course if people want to continue do read the Manga, I am sure they wont be making a second season although we can only hope right?

Sukitte Ii Na Yo has 10 volumes and 41 chapters so far, I hope this picture will get you to check it out.

I think they are very cute together, they make me smile alot. We all wish something like this right? I hope it happens to everyone, I guess "Love" isn't perfect but we can always try to make the best of it. Enjoy the music I will post up! Did I mention how much I adore Suneohair! <3

PostHeaderIcon Japan Matsuri 2013 ( ̄Д ̄;) ガーン

Minasan, kon'nichiwa~

I thought I would write a little something today about Japan Matsuri in London 2013! It was a cloudy day yesterday, but none the less a very beautiful night! No rain whatsoever Which is a bonus point I guess for performers. It was on Saturday October 5th, near Trafalgar Square. It was a huge huge event and probably well known.
Everything kicked off at 11am and lead on to the night until 9pm, which was a very long event.

It was unfortunate I didn't go, but there was a few friends of mine who did go to this event, I thought I would write about their thoughts on this event, via through them. I think I will have to wait another year in order to go again. It's such a shame, it would have been amazing to see it first hand but you know, things happen and you are busy. I thought I would share some stuff through others to get a clear show of what we missed.

The first two pictures are from the original website they are not mine, so do not worry. It's copy write to them. Not mine, if I had originals I would definitely put them up, sad I can't. (▼_▼メ)
So I got a friend who went there happy days, and asked her a few questions to which she replied for me.

Me: What did you see in general?
Nicky : Interms of performances I saw a japanese singer (sorry forgot her name) along with her backup dancers!
There were all wearing short kimono style dresses and everything about the performance was like a throwback from the 80's
The songs the singer sang reminded me of a old anime song opening! Marmalade boy in particular! the dances were similar
to japanese para para dancing! The second performance I saw was more japanese music but a more traditional sound whichinvolved the use of the traditional japanese instrument/guitar the shamisen
The performance was nice and part of the performance featured a guy I knew called Yuma. I couldnt see clearly if he
also was playing a shamisen or a regular guitar but eitherway he was really really good.

Me: How was the surrounding?
Nicky: It was my first time so I was surprised by how large the event was! there was a lot of people
and everyone there seemed to be there to enjoy the event and generally have a good time.

Me: Whom did you go with or see?
Nicky: In terms of people I saw, although I got there around 4:30-5:00 it didn't take me long to find my friends! and throughout the event myself as well as my friends kept bumping into other friends and other people we knew!

Me: Did you enjoy the performance or anything?
Nicky: The performance I did manage to see I enjoyed! but I have to say I enjoyed being there with my friends both Japanese and non Japanese a lot more

Me: Did you buy anything?
Nicky: I was hungry so I bought some food! I bought some very delicious Yakisoba and through a recommendation by one of my friends I bought a very nice Japanese lemon drink:'Ramu bottle'

Me: By the end of it how was the general atmosphere was it worth it?
Nicky: In general I saw alot of people! The atmosphere was very good!  I feel the atmosphere was good due to the people there, some japan lovers, some non japan lovers who just came out of curiosity either way I feel everyone there came to have a good time( and did) and to experience some Japanese culture!

Well, for my friend Nicky overall it seems she really enjoyed herself, from her point of view I gathered. The food was great, she had managed to meet people who she made friends with and manged to see after a long time. It seems like one of her friends who went along with her met up with a fried who she hadnt seen in 10 years!! My, I never knew a festival could bring people together. I think it sums up that it was great for everyone. And the singer she had seen was called

Naomi Suzuki, but there was other people playing, like Fuyuki Enokido who came from Japan to do a stage! Hibiki Ichikawa. There was more I will list them soon.
I thank my friend for the follow up of the day, her twitter is linked here if you want to be friend her too, she is a fellow Japan culture lover like I am. (https://twitter.com/xNicky10) credit to Nicole for answering my questions! She also mentioned a couple of elvis guys dancing to Japanese folk songs the video is posted up on her twitter please go share or watch it. Thank you!

Next up is a little info from another friend of mine, who didnt quite gather what her feelings was for the whole event.

Me: How was Japan Matsuri?

Anca: It was alright..plenty of food ..haha..almost all the stalls were with food ..there was music, traditional dances...what else?..hmmm..cute guys..haha:P

Me: Cute guys?
Anca:  ooohhh yeaaahhh...loads of cute guys..

Me: LOL
Anca:
I still remember those 2 Tokyo guys..they were so dreamy..but because I was too shy I missed my chance to talk more with them...and one of them was looking at me..I'm so angryyyy...T^T

Me: oh no you would gotten the guy if you talked more lol bless maybe next time?

Got to love this girl, I also asked her cousin of what she thought about it.

Me: How was Japan Matsuri?
Furore:  Sorry, dear...but I just passed by....I wasn't so much into it...or into the guys ;))

Overall, I think for these two beautiful girls they were either into it and not so into it. Which isn't so bad,  I mean a festival is a place where you meet new people. So remember readers, if you meet two tokyo guys and one looked at Anca please do give me a comment, I shall get her lover boy to her soon because she was too shy to talk. It seems like a place where you meet loads of people, I would love to get a love story out of these festivals will make my day. Our conversation was of course real and quite amusing. Credit to Furore Maya and Anca Maria Thank you!!

So here it was, my little insight of Japan Matsuri 2013! Totally love the fact I got three different peoples view on it. Some like some not, some enjoyed some not. Tell me how you guys thought about it and if anyone went. I would love to go next year maybe, and get a story of my own in it with pictures. And get to meet new different people too, and maybe get a love story in between. Did I mention I missed Siro-A the most amazing dance group ever, they had performed at the Matsuri, so whoever didn't go missed one of the best things. Oh lets not forget the the guitarist who did the original Kill bill theme song Iconic! Damn my luck hopefully someone cooler comes next time. please do go on the website (http://japanmatsuri.com/) for the rest of the information.
