Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles!
You probably are wondering why in the world I am talking by old movies! Lets just say it’s one of those days where you need to watch movies like these to remember it’s not all gone! It’s still there somewhere but hard to find!
I loved every part of these two movies, it’s such a classic! I never get bored watching it I find it so lovingly great! Sometimes I wonder If I was born in the wrong Era! Don’t we all?! haha! But honestly speaking both of these movies bring back such beautiful memories for me!
If only I had a guy friend who would watch it with me T___T so sad! But I know he will be cringing every minute of it!
Pretty in Pink
High school senior Andie Walsh (Molly Ringwald) is a working-class girl who has a crush on one of the rich, preppie boys in her school, Blane McDonough (Andrew McCarthy). When Andie and Blane try to get together, they encounter resistance from their respective social circles.
Did I ever mention that Andrew McCarthy is a babe! He looks too cute to be true! I literally loved the movie I was watching because of him, don’t get me wrong watching John Cryer was even better! Or should I say *duckie* what a exclusive name I thought he was beautiful in the movie! Regardless he still makes me laugh now in Two and half men! Haha! Such a classic! But honestly speaking the best out of the movie was indeed Molly Ringwald she made me fall in love with her over and over. It felt so good to watch her act, I thought she did it wonderfully. She acted like a genuine teen of course! I couldn’t explain how great that was too see for me.
The connection in the movie was seen between Andrew and Molly. It was just amusing to watch John though haha! But I liked the plotline of the story. If no one has seen it make sure to watch it! :D I hated how the good one never got the girl it was always the opposite but it made it a decent movie to watch. Classic Teen movies as I say!
Sixteen Candles
High school sophomore Samantha "Sam" Baker struggles to get through the day of her 16th birthday, which her entire family forgets because her older sister, Ginny, is getting married the next day. She is also plagued by her ongoing infatuation with the very popular and very attractive senior, Jake Ryan. Her day at school fares no better when she finds out that her completed "sex quiz," which she surreptitiously slipped to her friend, never reached her (and, unbeknownst to either of them, was picked up by Jake Ryan himself). Sam panics as the quiz contains personal information, including the fact that she is a virgin and is saving herself for Jake.
Well this movie was great, I loved how everyone forgot about her birthday. Kind of reminds me of mine a lot of the times except I forget everyone else remembers haha! Not a problem though I thought it was a cute movie, I mean the struggle to get noticed for a guy and all. The movie was great and I loved the charcters they were very amusing to me. I also thought Jake Ryan was a babe!! :D and I loved how they got together in the end I find that sweet although I wish there as more of Anthony I mean he was so cute when he was teen!!! I literally had a major crush on him. Not now though haha but literally awesome! :D
I won’t drone on about the movie, I mean I am sure everyone said and looked for many blogs with a lot of reviews on them! But for me it’s just a way of reminisce the past of my lovely movies. And remember that acting back then was awesome and the plot lines! :D I would like a remake of it but I think watching the older versions and originals are the best really! :D too cool for words hehe!
