Clubland TV - Kpop slot!

As everyone probably knows! Kpop has finally taken over the world! All thanks to of course our lovely PSY - Gangnam Style song! Would you believe it?
I wasn't sure how to take this at first when they started to show Psy, I thought WOW they are starting to like it, people will love it now and it will be mainstream. Watching it on UK tv has always been a dream like having a channel for all the shows we watched subbed being played. However it is only for a minority scale of songs so far.
Today, at 10pm UK time Clubland TV had managed to make a Kpop - Top 10! it lasted about 45mins but I was sure it fulfilled everyone's dreams! It's wonderful to know that they had managed to get a slot just for Korean music lovers! It wasn't about Psy anymore it had totally upscaled to a point where everyone knew about the whole mainstream bands! example, BTOB, BIG BANG, SHINEE, SISTAR, BEAST and BOA! Of course since it's a show that will continue to play we hope they update the music of course!
I am currently happy to know that it's a part of UK tv now. But I do have mixed feelings if you wonder why, I feel that for me it will take time for loads of people knowing about kpop! I am glad that it has started to explore into Europe! I just liked the idea that I was different and I enjoyed watching it without not a lot of my friends knowing it. It was a identity of my own, of course not a lot of people will understand what I am trying to say. I just don't want Kpop to be a big joke, like after a while it may lose it's touch and I don't want that. I want it to grow yet I want it to stay as a Korean music that maintains that cultural effect to it. Now if i go outside having people talk about kpop it would make me uncomfortable and I don't know why because I always liked to talk about it but I never forced it on anyone, I liked the idea of them finding out themselves.
I've been a fan of Kpop since I was 9/10 years of age! I was exposed by a family too! I knew all the first generation to this generation music. I have grown to know alot of the people in Korean entertainment now. So for me it's a childhood thing but now since's it's so widely known I don't want people to associate the music I want them to like the culture too because it's an amazing culture to learn! I learnt so much from a friend and I am still growing to know it, I just hope I learn the language quick enough even after so many years I still can't get the hang of it.!
So off topic, I just want to express how happy I am that they have showed it! But I still want the mystery to remain in the Kpop world! That would be lovely but thats my personal opinion!
