The plot begins with Souichiro Nagi and his friend Bob Makihara going to their first day of high school at Toudou Academy. They had intended to rule the school by beating up anybody that got in their way, as they had done at their previous schools. They soon learn that Todo is no ordinary high school, but rather a school that was founded to teach and integrate different fighting styles. Its students are skilled in the various arts of combat with some students possessing supernatural abilities, such as pyrokinesis, precognition, and superhuman strength based on the abilities to use their "spirit" or "ki" in Japanese. After an altercation with the Executive Council, Souichiro and Bob join the only surviving club that opposes them, the Juken club. As the storyline develops, both groups find they are becoming increasingly involved in a long enduring conflict that was left unresolved from theJapanese Feudal era by some of the characters' ancestors.
OK SO ANOTHER MANGA I LOVED HAD ENDED! and OH GREAT IS THE CULPRIT! seriously he should stop doing this! I know this manga well before and when I heard it finished I wanted to really really cry because no offence to Air Gear I had Tenjho Tenje a bit more, slightly. It did have issues but I loved the growing of the manga in my eyes it was wonderful. With a cool plot like that I had found it amazing once again that the female was a strong charcter in the show than the male! and it probably grew on me a bit more but I wanted more of it, and the brutality of this show WOW I honestly couldn't have loved it more. There was more in this manga than Air gear! haha understand really cause Air Gear is about AT and Tenjho isnt!
So where was I? omg I really cannot believe it finished although 22 volumes it still felt so little of the damn show and manga! I wanted more dammit! more than anything I wanted to show people that this show isnt all about boobies and bums! It's a lot more and its so complex that it's so entertaining! I honestly agree that it looks pervy but the brutality of the fights makes up for it! and the charcters let me just explain how awesome each and everyone of them are! there is none you could hate! besides the really mean ones but still! They are awesome!
The first two pictures you encounter, one is the orignial group of the dojo, and the other picture is the second group. Only one member is actually dead from the first group. And it happens to be Maya and Aya Natsume's brother! which is shame and so saddening but they continue to live up to the names of the dojo because of him.
So here I go with the characters wish me luck! :D
First up Maya Natsume!
A third year student and the current leader of the Juken Club. She is very skilled in various martial arts, but does not possess the Dragon's Eye like her siblings. But she is the strongest women in the manga itself. She has to be honestly made as a guard for the siblings in other words. But she was amazing through out the manga and it was amazing watching her past and present catch up together. I really didnt like her at first but then I realised why but now it was because of her leninet ways of protection and saving someone is what got me to love her more and more and Oh great took the major piss in the end with her and it broke my heart! and many of the others too I suppose Nagi has a crush on her you can tell! LOL! but the best part was her and Mitsoumi I think their relationship was beautiful although Mitsoumi was a TURD back in high school he was easily led on but I knew deep down he was more than attracted to her! which was the great part about OH GREAT! he didnt dwell on the love and crap he made it so complicated which got me irritated but it was still good to read it :D
Next on is lovely Aya Natsume!
Next on is lovely Aya Natsume!
A first year student and the youngest of the Natsume family. In the manga she has brown ankle-length hair, although her hair is ginger for the anime. Like her brother Shin, she has the power of the Dragon's Eye. Although she has problems consciously activating it, she seems to have better control of the power than her brother.
Of course one of the three siblings should have something and it became known that Aya had it, Aya to me is naive but possibly the most gold hearted girl ever. She knows when she lost and admits defeat when possible although she should continue she knows when her limit is. Which I adored about her, I loved her love for Souchiro but because of his aloofness she disregards this and ends up still chasing after him. I really hoped she ended up Masataka but because she refused for personal reasons I knew she loved him example at one point she did mention to him "If I known you first you would be the one I loved most" of course the quote isnt correct to much but something along those lines! :D she is awesome, her powers and skills had improved to the point that created a sword out of her own hair! (Spoiler) sorry! I had to mention my excitement! she is actually the most grown charcter of the show, her love for her sister is a big obstacle for her and I liked her anguish of it. Maya was known to be the hotter of the siblings understandable but still I think aya was just wonderful in her own ways.
our Second is lovely Masataka!
our Second is lovely Masataka!
A second year student and Mitsuomi's younger brother. Most of the time he has an easy going personality and is somewhat shy, but his demeanor changes when he becomes angered or serious. When this happens, he becomes a very formidable combatant.
OMG! <3 Can I just express how wonderful this Character is!! I really really love him! I swear if I could meet a guy like him I would be so damn happy! he is the most amazing student you will find. Why do I say that? I would like to explain by the end of the manga I had realised and people in the manga had mentioned it a few times. That if Souchiro did not exist Mastaka is actually the strongest pupil in the whole damn story! And I cannot express how happy that makes me feel! I mean honestly speaking through the whole manga I was rooting for him to do everything! and he was just too good! He also loves Aya and I hated how he would be sidestepped and helped her in situations but I hated that I really wanted him and Aya! I really want them together! and it hurt when he confessed but he still continues to love her! I would as well I mean come on what a great guy! his combat skills are to die for I mean wow, if he went against Mitsoumi I know for sure his brother would be down in a instant. THe manga was ever growing and I loved how Masataka was the only one who saved the day during the end and ended up being extremely powerful although *spoiler* he did loose his hands which made me cry :( he still ended the battle beautifully! I honestly think he is the best character in the show it just makes me glad I even read it and watched it! His also very much hilarious in the show and manga hehe!
Fourth, Souchiro! :D
A first year student and self proclaimed hoodlum. He always wear a black long coat. He is very resilient and manages to surprise watchers by battling against the odds. He is the heir of the Demon Exorcist family. His family's supernatural power is called the Dragon's Fist, which gives them the ability to take supernatural powers from others and use it as their own.
He is a really good Main protagonist. Although my main problem with him was the head first and the confusion on his life. I mean I loved the fact he would do all this battle for his mother and etc. It was so sad to see his mother I mean that was beautiful and it really made me tearful! I loved his connection with her and the love oh god the love was too much! <3 If you read into the manga you would find out who his father is and what and how his mother had lost everything it's pretty saddening.
Thats the thing with Oh great! he made it a very emotional manga too! I enjoyed everything about it and wanted it continued for that reason! because it was mixed in so dramatically. Souchiro happens to gain so much power and in the end he still in a way lost! which was good because it showed the possibility of others wining. I mean his battles with everyone was immense. I loved it! It was thrilling to see, and the art work for him doing it awesome to the core. I hated how he wasn't sure of his feelings alot i know he liked Aya but it didnt help he didnt return it, but I enjoyed watching him get kissed by her and he would blush. I mean they haven't gone that far with Maya but I enjoyed a little romance between him and Aya! His every growing ability to make me laugh with his best friend Bob! was too good to watch I loved it.
Ok so I did only four, I'm sure you will find out more from other websites. But this is my opinion of this show. I loved it I honestly couldn't have cried more at the ending. I wanted more I needed it. I hated how rushed it was and at the end it made no sense because it was confusing as well, but it made sense straight the second time. It's the artwork that puts you in a dizzy spiral. Because its all over the place and there saying minimal stuff which gets us thinking what is going on? but really its a very interesting storyline you must have a read!! :D
So here it is a short little bio of the manga and show and my tearful good bye to this beautiful manga! I hope people read it and tell me how it is!
