☆Dopeness☆ ~

This movie was completely different to any other studio ghibli also, it was a disney deal to. but I would like to start of by saying it was a good movie to watch sometihng different and non fantasy which perked me up.

The animation of course was as flawless as ever and the story was just a normal high school with two friends who happend to like this one girl. it started of with Taku looking over the station to see a women across of course he has a flashback to remember who he sees at this point. so two years ago we see Taku working at a resturant and his friend calls to show off a new student from tokyo who happened to be rikako, whose parents are divorced and was forced to live with her mom because she had no choice. we can see her distress in the movie so clearly, so the movie is discussing right now about a hawaii trip they made.

everyone is psyched and wishes to go so they do all sorts of things,as the school ends in general that is. they go hawaii and we see that everyones enjoying it, we also notice rikako who has a problem and wants to borrow money so she goes to Taku and borrows it, eventually we find out that she wanted to visit her dad and her dad didnt know. her father eventually pays Taku back because he was dragged there by chance. he also notices alot of Rikako and at this point we also notice things about her to.

we realise she is haughty and very much arrogant, shes selfish and lonely. and she never offers help. which kind of sums up the movie really it was just a long short story of a struggle and journey which wasn't promising. we also gather that Rikako and Taku had a fight and avoided each other because Taku called her "The worst" in general she was pretty spoiled and didnt respect anyone so he just told the truth and she ignored it.

we also realized that Yutaka, Taku's best friend is also in love with Rikako, of course Taku didnt realise his own feelings or his friends so he was more surprised. and was punched in the face as a process of this which was unfair. It felt to me like Taku was literally taken for a joy ride around this problems because of Rikako, ah girls and what pain! haha! 

So were back to the present and this time Taku runs to the other platform because he notices Rikako, however she is gone which gives us the feeling that he will never see her again. but surprisingly at the end we see Rikako standing near him and he admits that he was always in love with him. 

which concludes that this story was amazingly cute! and i didnt like the process of how slow it was, but it was worth the watch. wasn't boring it did entertain me and I loved the plot of those three charcters merging nicely which gave me a feeling of being back in high school.
