The Man in the Moon

Movie : The man in the moon!
The story, set in 1950s Louisiana, tells of a 14-year-old girl named Dani (Reese Witherspoon) who falls in love with a boy three years older than she is, a senior named Court Foster (Jason London). Just as Court begins to reciprocate Dani's feelings, even giving her her first kiss, and their relationship begins to develop, he meets and becomes more attracted to Dani's older sister, Maureen (Emily Warfield). Unbeknownst to Dani, Maureen and Court begin to see each other and fall in love. However Court still cares for Dani, and Maureen loves her sister and neither can bring themselves to reveal the relationship.
The movie starts of with the two sisters talking about things and about how Dani is envious of her old sister, the movie was set in a farmy looking area and I thought how real it looked, the story was very good, sad and very sweet at times. The development bewteen court and dani was very efficient that they liked each other.
I re- watched the movie and I fell in love with it again I couldn't believe how much I loved reese witherspoon in this movie! yes theres others she was great in! but I don't know why but I really loved her in this I think she portrayed a love struck child perfectly! and I totally love that. and Jason london haha I thought he was utterly adorable in the movie he was the typical boy next door!
The story was great, the acting was great. the movie was heartbreaking espcially near the end when Court falls in love with Dani's older sister after just seeing her but both feel very sad at the fact that they still care for Dani they can't explain how they could reveal the two had a relationship, I admit not everyone can deal with loss and heartbreak in the same time but I believe Dani was stronger than anyone in the movie, I thought she showed a real great personailty.
The cinematography for the places and the emotions they showed though close ups etc. was pretty good! because we got the feel to the story even more. one thing I always notice is how they will portray an emotion as delicate as heartbreak like would they go crazy? or be happy? or just be sad? The way Court died was horrific! imagine being sliced up like that but of course they didn't show that part but it showed the tractor with the sharp thing coming towards him which indicating he will die.
I love the melancholy feeling when the funeral started, the pan shots of Dani's face as she saw the mourners was just really sad, you could tell she was feeling really heartbroken, but she stayed so calm the barbed wire that was in front of her face shadowed it showing she was in the corner hiding as if she didn't want to show her weakness.
Around the hour and half into the movie we see Dani by the river where she always used to take a swim with Court where they bonded and made a connection, we see him jumping off and in the water which puts a smile on Dani's face. which fades away after wards, on the way to Courts grave land where she see's her sister lying face down crying, I thought it was amazing how Dani could forgive like that and still love her own sister helping her grieve when she wants to grieve! what a kind soul :( the song was beautiful that matched nicely I liked that.
we see it end where Maurine helps Dani braid her hair at night, and Dani say's "I wish I could talk to the man in the moon" but also says "wish we could talk to each other always" so it shows she cares a lot which goes back to the first part where Maurine says there mother said when they were kids "They could talk to the man in the moon if there was any trouble or confusion"
and then the picture of the moon comes up! which is very nice :)
Overall :
I loved the movie I thought it was amazing, it had such an emotion too it of course its a drama movie but it was great. one of the better Reese movies I enjoyed :) but if you have time make sure to watch it! it will warm your heart and maybe put a little sadness in it but it was well worth it :)

Totally True love? - Jorgen + Anne = Sant
When the new boy in class, Jørgen, moves into the haunted house down the road Anne’s world turns upside-down; she falls head over heals in love with him. All the girls in Anne’s class fall for Jørgen as well, including beautiful blond pony-tailed Ellen. But that is of no hindrance to Anne; she is willing to go further than anyone to win him over. When done in the name of love, everything is allowed…isn’t it?
SPOILER!
SPOILER!
This movie is a Norwegian movie, and the movie itself was very cute and understandable. Of course i needed subs since I don't understand the language but it was pretty simple to know what was going on I mean. The children acting was spot on they did their roles perfectly I thought the story was interesting a view from a child's about love! but you have to bear in mind the dialogue is pretty fast! so it was a bit loopy~
The movie starts off with Anne (Maria Annette Berglyd) who is a typical 10 year old who loves doing what kids do, like climbing trees and so on, she is a bit awkward and different as she does the opposites of things but nevertheless she is energetic and bubbly. Her point of view is shown pretty clear as to how she fell in love etc. She introduces her best friend Beate (Aurora Bach) the red haired girl who is so cute looking!!! and what she likes to do and how she has no parents. And the story moves on to the meeting of Jorgen!
We see a car that stops by and comes out Jorgen (Otto Garli) with his dad as their car stops dead. We see Beate and Anne join to help them get their car home and that's how the first meeting of the two 10 year old were. Anne infatuated already the next day happens to see Jorgen in her class which doesn't surprise her or Beate but pleases them.
I thought the interesting part of the movie was the "Story of Helga" when all the kids are gathered around Jorgen's house we see Anne tell the story of "Helga" to them, and the tale consisted of love and tragedy of course. The story was of how Helga was in love with a boy called Luca, who every girl had a crush on him as well, she hated the other girls and would do anything to get rid of them for Luca. eg. There is a scene where she cuts of this girls hair! she was pretty twisted, her father later locked her up and apparently no one ever saw her again as she was supposedly buried in the wall. It later goes on to say how the tenants that lived their always moved away as they didn't feel happy or safe and found the wall that Helga was buried in bleeding, so it was a pretty awkward yet creepy story in other words.
The story goes on after to have the best friends Anne and Beate confessing who they like and how they will get them. Anne thinks of something clever which was writing a love letter and putting it in the secret place her rival "Ellen" was the one she gave it to as "Ellen" was the one aiming for Jorgen which makes this a love triangle in a way, the idea came from the story of Helga, where her father wrote the note to her saying it was from Luca but he lied, the letter that said "I Luca don't love you stop now" but she didn't stop. So the Idea was in full swing, and thus where everything went uphill and downhill for Anne.
Downhill side, she faced a lot of humiliation from her brother there was a scene where she had to take of her trouser which was her brothers in front of the whole school, she was forced to take it off. (The scene totally made me want to cry that was embarrassing her brother was so cruel)
The uphill from that point was how she got a sweet ride with the one she likes which was pretty cute! I loved the scene a lot it made me smile and think about our youth in a way. Jorgen choose Anne instead of Ellen which gave Anne hope which you could see in her smile so cute!
But then it went downhill from there as during "Ellen" birthday party there was some issues that the girls had, as in during the truth or dare game "Ellen" had to watch Jorgen and Anne kiss and so she blew a fit, afterwards "Ellen" had a fight with Anne which made Anne hit her with her bag and was asked to leave the party.
After that it was pretty awful as the best friends started to turn on each other and hurt one another with words they couldn't take back. And how Anne was ostracized by her class which made it hauntingly real so she went to "Ellen" house later on and cut her hair out of jealousy similar to Helga which I found so clever she imitated everything about the story of Helga. So she ran away and hid under some trees, her brother found her and they talked which was sweet.
The uphill part now was Anne apologized and reconnected with her best friend again and she went over to Jorgen's house where they talked and this part melted my heart it was really cute I loved it they confessed and it was really nice and it ends with Anne saying don't believe what people say you can fall in love she did.
Overall : This story was simple and yet so sweet, it showed off the characters really well as in we knew from which kids liked whom and why. And the connection between Jorgen and Anne was adorable seeing it from a 10 year old's point of view gave me a hint that it doesn't matter what age you are you could fall in love, it just depends how. I loved their first meeting together I saw how they stared at one another and smiled it was those tiny moments that make you reminisce about your first crush or so. The cinematography was pretty fast and it was hard to read the subtitles and watch same time however the second time I watched it I had my eyes solely focused on the images I loved each scene connecting with one another the Pan's and focus of each expression on the kids, it was worth the watch...It portrayed a child's life nicely.
If you want a small family movie, or a children romance this is pretty much a great one, its a great release and i connected well with the movie. It's worth a go to watch this if you need something light and cute.

Ninja nonsense? This was hilarious!
2X2 shinobuden is created and illustrated by Ryoichi Koga, they have about 4 manga volumes which rand from August 2000 - March 2006!
and they created about 12 episodes for the anime which ran from July 8, 2004 – September 23, 2004.
The anime itself was colorful and full of random moments, then again it is called
ninja nonsense haha. its quite funny there were moments where you were like what
in the world! but it all flowed together nicely though i loved it, its best if you have
nothing to watch and want something quick and lighthearted
This is your show no joke! i feel happy to come across it i mean it was a very wise
choice for me, as you can see I am not a picky anime watcher at all, i have watched
about A-Z of these animes since 2000! so that's a lot if I say so myself and this show
is quite similar to Azumanga daioh except its not as funny as Azumanga daioh but
can survive in it own.
The main character is Shinobu who is rather clumsy and very headstrong, shes super
cute as well she also has the typical big bust going on for her in her ninja outfit.
she befriends kaede who is like the only sensible person in the show! they both
just run around and look at failed missions! which in amusing in its own way! :D
This was a funny show! especially in 2004 the story
was rushed but it suited it in a way and I tottally loved it.

I would give this a B! - good! for taste anyway!
so if you have time check it out! :D

Books of Hell?

Well this was interesting I was Reading some books last couple months back, and i came across the "Hell" series. it was pretty nice I mean a book created by known writers, collections of short stories by popular teen authors—Meg Cabot, Kim Harrison, Michele Jaffe, Stephenie Meyer, and Lauren Myracle—embraces the dark side of a revered tradition.
I read all four! but I really preferred two out of them, I loved Prom night from hell! AND Love is Hell I thought they were really entertaining. I loved the stories in each the books but i fell in love with probably "Sleeping with the spirit" which got my attention pretty quickly it was sweet, freaky and sad. but the best to me is probably "prom nights from hell"overall.
However!! besides my opinion this particular series was very good. I mean if you wanted a quick read and a bit of romance then this is your kind really, but the plots are very much the main focus. I mean they weren't over the top they were very intense ones some very sad ones and very cute ones! and also butt kicking ones! :D
So don't be shy to pick up this book! it's totally worth the read especially if your a big fan of the authors like i am!! so enjoy and tell me how it was ;)
