Chrome shelled regios - Shūsuke Amagi
In a post-apocalyptic polluted earth overrun with mutated beasts called Filth Monsters (Contaminoids in Funimation's translation), humanity is forced to live in large mobile cities called Regios and learn to use weapons called DITE and harness the power of K to defend themselves. In the Academy City of Zuellni, Layfon Alseif is hoping to start a new life without Martial/Military arts and forget his past. However, his past has caught the attention of Kalian Loss, the Student Council President and Nina Antalk, a Military Arts student and Captain of the 17th Platoon, who instantly recognizes his abilities and decides he's the perfect candidate to join her group. The series follow Layfon's life in Zuellni and occasionally has flash backs of his life in Glenden.

This is a small review on what I thought of this Anime. This Anime focuses on military bases, and recruitment to having the best team. Regios is a place controlled by a electronic fairy there are two cities one to learn and study the other where the population lives. the fairies are what control the cities and what makes it them, if they didnt have them the population was in real terms dead. There are weapons used to fight these filth monsters of all levels, and the kei users have DITE which helps the users defeat the monsters, there are many types of kei users in this show, external, internal or psychokinetic.
In other words, when you see the first episode you will be a bit confused at first. But it all falls into place around the third or fourth episode. The show is very interesting it had a really nice plotline however because of the different usage of names I did get a bit lost at times. It didnt quite grip me enough but I did enjoy it, the anime shows of alot of different characters which are alot, but the main is the focus of Layfon.
Layfon - very useless, his too kind for his own good he also acts smart but dense too. Different character which I managed to like though because of this, I mean he wasn't the strong type he was really slow and how should I say it. Too shy and not to out there like most main's are in the Anime that is. He was hinted to love his childhood buddy but he is dense to other girls liking him which is a shame because I think he was better off with one of his teammates. Instead of the childhood buddy. He fights really good so his combat skills are great, he is though seen confused most of the time, however in the manga he is actually pretty strong and completely different.
Nina - Badass chicka who likes to kick butts! totally love her she shows great willpower, although she is a side character not a main one but she is at the end a big focus!
Felli loss - funny name, but she's super cute and I really adored her in the Anime. You would always have those expressionless girls but she was both! she couldn't express but she wanted to which was a nice change. She wasn't cold or bitter but she was initially shy person who finds it hard to show her emotions. She is a psychokinetic she uses her brain alot, however in the show it didnt show much of her and her powers which kind of sucks and makes her a lame character though which is not cool. Because she is totally awesome!
Sharnid - Too funny, he is like that funny character who is there to help you but also make it a bit comedic. I didnt see much of him but when I did he was just really cool!
Harley - is a mechanic and is easily shown that he is pretty serious and has fun too at the same time also worries. He doesnt fight which is obvious he just a weapon designer so I didn't quite see him at all as well except to fix the DITES.
Overall - this Anime is one not to forget! it was awesome, I remember watching it last time and I had no clue what had gone one. But ever since I re-watched it I felt a bit happier knowing that it was awesome and worth watching! It never failed to deliver to me, I really liked it. Just a bit confusing sometimes but overall not so bad, so check it out when you can. IT was super hard to find the subbed version so watching in dub made me cringe. Although the Manga is still ongoing and light novel I dont think it will end soon, the things I read and watched so far has kept me entertained!
