Angel beat - Key
Angel Beats! takes place at a high school acting as a limbo for those who have died, where students learn to give up any lingering attachments they still have from life before passing on. Those in the afterlife school can still feel pain as they did when they were alive, as well as dying again, only to awaken later with no injuries. The story follows the main protagonist Otonashi, a boy who lost his memories of his life after dying. He meets Yuri, a girl who invites him to join the Afterlife Battlefront (死んだ世界戦線 Shinda Sekai Sensen (SSS)), an organization she founded and leads which fights against God for the cruel fates the SSS members experienced in life. In the SSS, there is a four-girl band named Girls Dead Monster that acts as a diversion during missions, and an organization called the Guild that mass produces weapons out of dirt and supplies them to the SSS. Their only enemy is Angel, a girl who has supernatural powers and fights against the SSS. Angel creates her powers with the aid of a computer program called Angel Player. The rest of the afterlife school is populated by a large number of "normal" students and teachers Yuri deems "non-player characters" (NPCs) as they are not human, but look and act the part.
Ok, so first off let me explain this isnt a guide by guide I dont know how people do that, I will just explain the good and bad points of the show that is all. So let me explain that the story in general was about moving on. leaving the regrets behind and moving on! The plot was amazing, the animation to the sound! Key is one of the most promising animation team I would ever love! To anticiapte their next anime is what I'm waiting for! They are just simply amazing all there stories has a spark of truth in it, and I can't explain how much that means alot to me in some parts. I love anime to the point where I would be delusional don't get me wrong it gives me a creative head start. I'm 20 and I love anime, but I'm sure there are others older and still love anime. But having watched all the old sets of animes and the new ones there some things where the plots are soo crazy and borderline fantasy! which is good! cause cartoons are supposed to be like that.
SO with Angel beats! I gathered that the main character was the boy and the girl. Of course people think they will be together till the end. There wasn't a lot of romantic sides to it, let me explain that there was so many twists I thought wow. It was a good show to watch, a great anime. It was filled with action and lot of emotions of being dead and undead. OF course no one will know who is dead or undead. IF they have died etc. lets not dwell on that ahaha!
I love Yuri, I thought she was amazing having the toughest dead story in their. She was blessed with a good afterlife I suppose. She was the strongest and wisest and did anything to help those move on. Thats admirable! and the fact she hated fighting with her enemy made her feel bad, she wants to be friends which gives the idea that she just wanted people to be happy instead of angry or scared.
I wont go much into detail about the show that's your job! not mine! LOL I have watched and enjoyed so I will continue to say that it's worth a watch! Some animes are worth watching in a mood. I watched this when I was really pissed off! excuse my french! =_= but it wasn't intentional I watched this late at night as well! don't we all do that? LOL but it was well worth it. I waited till it finished before I watched I hated waiting I used to do it and anticipate the next episode with happiness! but this time it was the mere fact I was in university and didnt have time! And that filled me with dread, I didnt grow up watching anime to forget it, I want to watch and indulge myself in it.
Angel beat's always got me thinking alot, it has really really strong questions and answers! I'm sure people will find the extensive but I do like the role they play for this after school life! It's a view on all the students and how they work and etc. It's also another way of showing and telling us that what actually happens in the afterlife? Of course people go really into detail about anime and analyse to the point where it goes crazy! But please bare in mind that is not me I am just stating something I always found interesting. The battle music was EPIC! i really liked it, I had the bgm playing a few times too! The colours and vibrancy to this anime is pretty awesome too and the Girl dead monsters!!! are just one of those things you have to love! having a high school band playing and its a all girls too! and the songs were just amazing! :D let's not forget it would chart alot as well! so one of the other reasons why I checked it out as well, the songs were addictive! :D hehe! It was a funny show the scenes with all of them are so hilarious the characters are so amusing! you would be laughing away!
SO i will leave you here and to contemplate whether you want to watch this or not! but do give me a insight on what you think! :D would love to know! :D although I watched this a while ago im not so good with remembering haha!
