Look it's the get backers!....Get back! (get the pun)
Get the pun I know terrible! I feel sorry I even wrote it! but doesnt mean I wont laugh xD
Ban Mido and Ginji Amano are a recovery duo infamously known as "GetBackers." Ban possesses two special powers: the "Snake Bite" (his hands have a gripping power of 200 kg) and the "Evil Eye" (anyone who looks into his eyes will be locked into a powerful and nightmarish hallucination). Ginji, on the other hand, has the ability to generate thousands of volts of electricity from his body. Together, they run a freelance business of recovering anything lost or stolen from a client—and they claim a 100% success rate at their job.
SO I was browsing around and I was thinking of re-watching anime! and guess what! I chose this as a starter! I sat down and thought damn its been a while since I saw this might give it a go again! And I did and I wasn't disappointed, I have clearly missed out how much I love Ginji and Ban! and their funny escapades and fights they are such an amusing team!
I have read the manga before and it's so much better than the Anime! however the reason why I watch anime is because everyone wants to see it come alive right? I know I do! I really enjoyed it though, even the mini fillers it was super cute! I love how Ginji transforms into his chibi form and everyone is scared of him, I also adore his scared feelings for Akabane! so so damn funny! The poor man just wants a fight haha!
Not enough is known about Ban in the anime, as usual most creators do tend to cut it. But we get the jist of his actions and motives which are pure and all. He is supremely well friended with Ginji and will risk his life for him clearly shown in the show. I loved the connection both boys have it's so brotherly and sweet! something so teary and beautiful. The charcter designs are well done and the storyline is just simply good, since it's connecting this one building! so it's super good to see something different I love and miss the old animes wish they were more like them!
It's just so nice to catch up on them! and find them again after so long It takes me not a long time to finish it! but I do respect the people who sub them so people what you waiting for hurry up and watch the show!
Although my point of view I was disappointed around the endish, so it left me hanging understandable it's a short based anime nothing long running wish it was! cause with an amazing storyline like that it should have been longer! please someone make a second season! I wanna see the funny duo again! They really do make me laugh!! :D
