Known for its Space Western theme, Trigun is about a man named "Vash the Stampede" and the two Bernardelli Insurance Society employees who follow him around in order to minimize the damages inevitably caused by his appearance. Most of the damage attributed to Vash is actually caused by bounty hunters in pursuit of the "60,000,000,000$$" (sixty billion "double dollars") bounty on Vash's head for the destruction of the city of July. However, he cannot remember the incident clearly due to his amnesia. Throughout his travels, Vash tries to save lives using non-lethal force. He is occasionally joined by a priest, Nicholas D. Wolfwood, who, like Vash, is a superb gunfighter with a mysterious past.
As the series progresses, we learn more about Vash's mysterious history and the history of human civilization on the planet Gunsmoke. The series often employs comic relief and is mostly light-hearted although its tone shifts toward darker and more dramatic situations as the series draws to a conclusion. The story line also involves moral conflict pertaining to the morality of killing other living things.
THe best thing about this anime was that it was just hilarious! I literally am in love with Vash! i thought he was the most amazingly drawn character also the most entertaining guy i've seen. his not your normal weapon bound demon in fact his a idiot who loved doughnuts! its such a humorous anime i literally loved each episodes that went by.
it amazed me how interesting the plot was and how different, also the fact the particular show didnt have a set date into the year and the places were all in shambles and reminded me of the cowboy era! which I'm pretty sure alot would agree that it is!
despite that Vash the stampede is a babe, bless him his sweet and kind and also can be demanding and serious which was perfect! his called the humanoid typhoon which is a funny name considering everyone in the show describes him as a tall blonde with blue eyes and red floor length coat haha which reminded me of the episode where there was two people who mistook themselves and vash for being vash the stampede lets not forget Milly and Meryl i thought there input was hilarious along with vash! especially considering Meryl likes Vash openly but in the show it was harder to see as she kept dissing him ahah aww true love! they would make such a cute couple though! hehe!
I wish it went on a bit more sad it didnt! the manga itself was a bit sad too :( but it was a great read! i wish there was more! but oh well i think one series just did enough justice continuing would ruin it haha. the songs and drawings were lovely so give them a go too!
so tell me what you think :)
